On November 10, 2016 at 12:45 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Dumfries Road, between Greenfield Road and Wrigley Road, in North Dumfries Township. The driver of a southbound vehicle lost control, flipped the vehicle and came to rest upside down in the east side ditch. The driver, who was the lone occupant, was trapped in the vehicle but freed by members of the North Dumfries Fire Department. The female driver was taken to Cambridge Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
