Glenn STURGEON – Over 80

(ONEIDA NATION OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION, ON) – On February 25, 2017, at approximately 10:21 a.m. the Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation Police located a motor vehicle idling on Fairgrounds Road, near Oneida Road.

Officers determined that the 52-year-old male in the driver’s seat of the red Pontiac van had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment for breath tests, which revealed he had consumed more than twice the legal limit of alcohol.

As a result of the police investigation, Glenn STURGEON, of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Ontario, has been charged with care or control while impaired (alcohol), and care or control over 80 mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on May 4, 2017.
