(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment has charged a 56 year old male with a Provincial offence after a vehicle struck an Argyle Street (St), Caledonia, Haldimand County, ON building.
Today, Tuesday April 12th, 2016 at approximately 5:30 am, a 1996 International Tractor-Trailer being operated by a 56 year old male identified as Murray ANTHONY of Haldimand County, was travelling East bound on Alabastine Avenue (Ave). A 2016 Freightliner being operated by a 38 year old female identified as Melinda KEE of Hamilton, was travelling South bound on Argyle St. The vehicles collided. The Freightliner then struck a building on Argyle St.
The male driver of the International was not injured. The female driver of the Freightliner was transported by Ambulance to Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Charged with Fail to yield to traffic on through highway is 56 year old Murray ANTHONY of Haldimand County, ON. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
