(Town of New Tecumseth, ON)- The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) oversee the CAA bus patroller program in 10 community schools throughout the Townships of Essa, Adjala/Tosorontio and the Town of New Tecumseth. There are over 200 student bus patrollers who are role models to other students for bus safety and they assist the bus drivers on a daily basis.
This festive season, and colder time of year the Nottawasaga OPP in partnership with the Alliston and Angus McDonald’s delivered a warm festive thank you to the bus patrollers this week. McDonald’s donated hot chocolate to every patroller, and the OPP delivered them as a surprise. The students were very grateful and the treat helped warm them up.
