(POWASSAN, ON)-On October 17, 2014, at approximately 9:40 p.m., a member from the North Bay OPP detachment responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 11 Powassan. Police were informed of a north bound blue pick-up being driven all over the road. The vehicle was located by police and stopped. As a result of police investigation, Francoise ROBERT, age 55 of Sturgeon Falls Ontario, was charged with the following:
Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood, contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Driving while Ability Impaired-Motor Vehicle, contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
She is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on October 28, 2014.
