(TAY TOWNSHIP, ON) – On June 18, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Simcoe County Paramedics and Tay Fire responded to a multi vehicle accident on Highway 12 and Talbot Street in Tay Township.
A red Honda vehicle travelling eastbound swerved to miss a grey Ford that was turning left from Old Fort Road onto Highway 12. The red Honda then struck a red Ford and a grey Toyota that were westbound on Highway 12. Three people were transported to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injury.
As a result of the police investigation, the driver of the red Honda, Kelly REJEANNE (age 68) has been charged with Carless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
