FLEEING VEHICLE INVOLVED IN ROLLOVER COLLISION – SIU INVOKES MANDATE

(PETROLIA, ON) On Sept 14, 2013 just before 5:00 p.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attempted to stop a motor vehicle, which then fled after having been required to stop, by Lambton OPP. The vehicle fled from the Petrolia area and left the roadway rolling over into a field, west of Wyoming, ON. The driver, who fled on foot, was subsequently arrested and taken to Bluewater Health hospital along with both passengers of the vehicle.

Lambton OPP is reporting non-life threatening injuries to the occupants of the vehicle.

At this time Camlachie road between Confederation line and Churchill road, remains closed while the investigation continues.
