(TINY TOWNSHIP,On)-Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched at 8:00pm on Nov 30,2013 to the scene of a personal injury accident on County Road 6 in the Village of Wyevale, Tiny Township.
At the time of the accident a Santa Claus parade was proceeding along County Road 6 when a volunteer Tiny Township Firefighter fell from a float that was part of the parade and suffered serious injuries when he stuck the ground.
The 36 year old male of Tiny Township was transported to Georgian Bay General Hospital after being treated at the scene by Simcoe County Paramedics. He was later transported to a Toronto area hospital for further treatment.
Attending OPP officers completed their investigation and no charges will laid in relation to the incident.
