(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating the break, enter and theft of firearms from a local residence.
On November 6, 2014 an OPP officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment attended a residence in the former Fenelon Township in response to the report of the break in. Initial investigation revealed that numerous firearms of various calibres were stolen from the residence.
The OPP’s Forensic Identification Services (FIS) attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
