On April 29, 2015 at 6:00 p.m., the Guelph Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 300 Water Street. GFD units from HQ, and stations 3, 4 and 5 arrived at the scene and found smoke showing in the second floor.
The fire was quickly brought under control and subsequently extinguished. The two storey abandoned building received fire damage to the second floor area only.
There were no injuries to fire crews.
The cause of this fire along with an estimate of damage is still under investigation by Guelph Fire Investigators.
Also on scene were Guelph Police, and Guelph Wellington Emergency Medical Services.
