On Thursday April 24th, 2014 at 2:10am, Waterloo Regional Police and the Cambridge Fire Department responded to reports of a fire in the area of Franklin Blvd and Clyde Rd in the city of Cambridge. Upon arrival, Cambridge Fire Department entered a 3 story apartment building and located a fire in a unit on the 1st floor. No one was in the unit at the time of the fire. The apartment building was evacuated without incident and no injuries were sustained or reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Cambridge Fire Department.
