(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fight complaint on Main Street in Forest, September 23, 2014 around 11:30 a.m.
Although the disturbance was between high school aged males, no school property was involved. As a result of the Lambton OPP investigation one male youth was charged and the 16 year old Lambton resident has a Sarnia Youth Court date of October 23, 2014 to answer to the charge of Assault Cause Bodily Harm.
Contrary to social media comments about the incident, Lambton OPP reports today, September 26, 2014 that there is no risk to student or public safety. As a precaution and to ensure continued safety, the North Lambton Secondary School is currently in a partial lock-down, and Lambton OPP remains in the area to actively investigate and monitor the situation closely.
