(QUINTE WEST, ON) – OPP officers from the Quinte West Detachment as well as the East Region Highway Safety Division set up R.I.D.E. checks in various locations in the City of Quinte West from December 12, 2014, until December 14, 2014.
During the checks officers issued five tickets for various Highway Traffic Act violations as well as charged two persons with Liquor Licence Act related offences.
A total of six roadside breath tests were also administered during the checks and none of the tests resulted in impaired driving charges.
