(QUINTE WEST, ON) – The Festive R.I.D.E. program continued overnight in Quinte West with officers in various locations checking drivers for sobriety.
Officers stopped well over 100 drivers issuing one Highway Traffic Act charge, three Highway Traffic Act warnings were issued, and one roadside breath test was administered.
The R.I.D.E. program did not result in any alcohol related offences.
Festive R.I.D.E. will continue on into the New Year so if you are going to drink choose your ride wisely.
