(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On the 5th of December 2013, Quinte West OPP officers set up at various locations in the City of Quinte West conducting the Festive RIDE program. Over 300 vehicles were stopped and checked by officers resulting in one driver being charged with a Highway Traffic Act offence. There were three Highway Traffic Act warnings issued and two roadside breath tests were administered. There were no alcohol related charges.
During the Holiday Season if you are going to drink, don’t drive.
