In the afternoon hours of Thursday February 2, 2017, the Owen Sound Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant in the 700 block of 9 th Avenue East in the City of Owen Sound.
The Criminal Investigations Branch and the Drugs & Intelligence Unit, with the assistance of the Community Oriented Response and Enforcement Unit, arrested 3 people during the search. Several Controlled Substances were recovered including: Fentanyl powder, Methamphetamine (Crystal Meth), Marihuana, Hash (Cannabis Resin) and Oxycontin pills.
A 51 year old Owen Sound man faces 7 charges including possession of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Marihuana, Oxycontin as well as failing to comply with probation.
A 38 year old Owen Sound man faces 8 charges including possession of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and Marihuana as well as failing to comply with probation.
A 43 year old Markdale man is charged with possession of Fentanyl.
