(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment have arrested and charged three females after police responded to an incident at a Queensway East, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Friday, September 26, 2014 at approximately 1:30 p.m., police responded to the Real Canadian Superstore after receiving a complaint about a shoplifting.
As a result of police investigation, it was determined that approximately $2,000 dollars in merchandise was removed from the store.
Three females fled to a nearby motor vehicle which was observed by an alert citizen, who then followed the vehicle and immediately contacted police.
The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated. As a result, police arrested and charged three individuals.
Charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 is 25 year old Ashley Patricia CARTER of Toronto, Ontario.
Charged with the following offences is 38 year old Charmaine JACKSON of Hamilton, Ontario.

Fail to comply with probation order
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Charged with the following offences is 48 year old Jo-Ann Julianna WENT of Scarborough, Ontario.

Fail to comply with recognizance X2
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
All are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
