(City of Peterborough, ON) – On August 13, 2014, at approximately 3:05 p.m. officers from the Peterborough County OPP received a complaint of a motor vehicle being operated in an erratic manner on the 115 Highway.
Officers located the Pontiac Sunfire shortly afterwards while it was travelling on Television Road after leaving the 115 Highway. Officers stopped the vehicle and initiated an investigation into the cause of the erratic driving by the driver.
As a result of the investigation 26 year old Jessica HAY of Trent Lakes was charged with Impaired Operation and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
HAY was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts on September 25th, 2014
