(Selwyn Township, ON) – On November 06, at approximately 12:50 a.m. members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate a report of a domestic dispute that occurred at a Highway 28 residence.
Attending officers were advised that a 47 year old female and a 50 year old male had been involved in a domestic relationship. On this date the two had become involved in a argument that quickly became assaultive. As a result of the assault the male victim had a knife thrown at him.
The victim did not receive any injuries as a result of the incident.
She was held in custody with a bail hearing scheduled for November 6, 2014 to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts.
The identities of the parties involved are being withheld due to the nature of the offence.
