(HURON EAST, ON) – 10May, just before 7:00 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped the driver of a Lexus sports utility vehicle flying along Brandon Road at a dangerous speed. Upon checking the vehicle’s speed with a RADAR device the officer measured the westbound Lexus at a speed of 181 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
The driver stated she was speeding because she was late for work. The officer ultimately charged the driver, seized her driver’s licence for seven days and initiated a seven day vehicle impoundment.
Sandra DESCHAMP, 53, from Huron East has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. She has a scheduled court appearance on June 16, 2015 at Provincial Offences Act Court in Goderich.
