On June 13, 2015, the Guelph Police were called to investigate an assault. It is alleged that a female heading home at approximately 2:45 a.m. in the area of London Road and Exhibition Streets, was accosted by an unknown male. The female was left with superficial injuries. The male is described as white with a tan complexion, 5’8” to 5’11”, broad shoulders, bulky build, with dark straight short hair, small eyes, wearing a white or grey t-shirt, and baggy jeans. Several persons are known to have been in the area at that time, and investigators would like to speak with those persons who were in the area of London Road and Exhibition Street between 2:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. This investigation continues to be ongoing.

Avoid dark and remote areas, avoid distractions such as texting or listening to music and be familiar with your surroundings. Avoid walking alone at night, it is better to walk in groups whenever possible or use city transit buses or cabs.
