FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

(DRYDEN, ON.) – The Dryden OPP is investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 17 just east of Aaron Provincial Park at 07:32 am on March 27, 2014. The collision involved a west bound passenger vehicle and an east bound commercial motor vehicle. The collision resulted in the closure of Highway 17 until 09:05 am at which point it was opened to one lane.

The collision resulted in the death of the driver and single occupant of the passenger vehicle, Taylor GARDINER (24years old) of Dryden Ontario. The driver of the commercial motor vehicle was not injured.

Members of the Dryden OPP detachment along with the North West Region Highway Safety Division and a Technical Traffic Collision Investigator are continuing the investigation, at this point no charges will be laid.
