(Minden Hills Twp, ON)- On Friday June 11, 2016 just after 7:00pm members of Haliburton Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Dysart Et Al Fire Department attended a residential structure fire on County Road 21 in Minden Hill.
During the initial investigation by the fire department, human remains were located inside the residence. As a result the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall (OFM) along with the Haliburton Highland OPP Crime Unit and Central Region Forensics Identification Unit have been asked to assist in the investigation.
The human remains has been identified as Bruce HARRIS 76-years from Minden Hills Township. The investigation has concluded and the cause of death has been determined to be not suspicious.
