(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a collision that has claimed a life. This evening at approximately 6:15 p.m. OPP officers along with Huron Park Fire Department members and Huron County Paramedics responded to a two vehicle collision located at the intersection of Airport Line and Crediton Road.
A white Chevrolet Express Van travelling southbound on Airport Line collided with a grey Ford Taurus travelling eastbound on Crediton Road.
The lone occupant of the Ford Taurus was pronounced dead at the scene. She has been identified as 21 year old Kaitlyn EASTABROOK from Crediton.
The lone occupant of the Chevrolet Express Van, a 36 year old male from London was transported to South Huron Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Members from the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team are currently on scene investigating.
Crediton Road remains closed between London Road and Ausable Line. Airport Line remains closed between Kirkton Road and Canada Avenue. Please take alternate routes to avoid delays.
