(DRYDEN, ON) – On September 13, 2015 at approximately 1:12 am, officers from the Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 17 at Airport Road just east of Dryden. Police have confirmed that the three occupants of one of the motor vehicles are deceased, and the two occupants of the other Tractor Trailer sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The occupants of the motor vehicle have been identified as Aaron THRONES (20yrs), Todd BOUSFIELD (23yrs) and Davin ARNOLD (23yrs) all three residents of Dryden.
Dryden OPP officers are being assisted by officers from Kenora and Ignace Detachments as well as Technical Collision Investigators (TCI).
Highway 17 was closed for approximately 6 hours and is now fully open to traffic.
The investigation is continuing however charges are not pending.
