(PLYMPTON, ON)- The deceased driver of the motor vehicle has been identified as Viktor ARTEMENKO, 26 years-of-age of The Town of Plympton- Wyoming. The passenger of the motor vehicle, Oleksandr MELNYK, 23 years-of-age also of Plympton- Wyoming was treated at hospital and was believed to be in stable condition.
The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), in consultation with The Provincial Coroner’s Office, continues to investigate the cause of the collision.

SINGLE MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION
One 26 Year Old Male Deceased And One Male Injured
(PLYMPTON, ON) – On Friday, October 9, 2015 at approximately 11:00 p.m. the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were requested to attend Uttoxeter Road between London Line and the #402 Highway located within the Town of Plympton- Wyoming in order to investigate a single motor vehicle collision.
As a result of this investigation, the OPP have determined that a single motor vehicle had been driven north bound on Uttoxeter Road, lost control, left the roadway and had come into contact with a hydro pole.
As a result of the impact the 26 year old male driver was pronounced as deceased at the scene of the collision. The 23 year old passenger was treated at the scene and transported to Hospital in stable condition.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) attended and continues to investigate. Uttoxeter Road has re- opened and there is no longer an OPP presence.
The OPP will not be releasing the name of the deceased or the passenger at this time as next-of-kin notifications are on- going.
