(LAKESHORE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has identified the passenger who died when involved in a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 3 in Lakeshore, Ontario on April 29, 2017.
Ronald MARTIN, age 59 of Kingsville, Ontario died at the scene after a JEEP he was the passenger in, rolled over east of Essex County Road 19 (Manning Road).
The driver of the vehicle, Jay RICHARDS, age 45 of Windsor, Ontario who received minor injuries as a result of the collision has been charged with the following offences:
Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle – Cause Death
Drive Motor Vehicle Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
RICHARDS will appear in a Windsor, Ontario court on June 1, 2017 to answer to the charges.
