(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On May 5th, 2016 at approximately 7:45 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Clearview Fire Department and the Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of County Road #9 and Centre Line Road.
An OPP investigation revealed that northbound silver Pontiac motor vehicle for a yet to be determined reason failed to stop prior to entering the intersection and collided with an eastbound motor vehicle.
The driver of the silver Pontiac was pronounced deceased at the about location.
Deceased is Travis W. SNOW 27 years old from Essa Twp.
The two occupants from the eastbound motor vehicle were both transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation into this fatal motor vehicle collision is ongoing with the assistance of the Central Region OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit (T.T.C.I.).
