On November 4, 2015, at approximately 5:50 pm., two motor vehicles collided at Spragues Road and Shouldice Side Rd ,in the township of North Dumfries. One motor vehicle failed to stop for a stop sign. One motor vehicle had three passengers while the other only had one occupant. After the collision both vehicles left the roadway. Two off duty firefighters came across the collision and pulled the occupants of one of the vehicles out as it caught fire. The Cambridge Fire Department attended and extinguished the vehicle on fire. The 20 year old male driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. One male was transported to hospital in critical condition while the other two males were treated and released at a local hospital.
