(Asphodel-Norwood Township, ON) – Member of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to single vehicle collision on 3rd Line of Asphodel-Norwood Township south of Highway 7 just after 7:00pm yesterday.
The Pontiac Montana van was being operated northbound on 3rd Line, when it left the roadway and collided with a tree.
Kenneth BRAND (age 58) of Peterborough, ON died as a result of his injuries at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
Technical Collision Investigators and a Collision Reconstructionist assisted Peterborough County OPP members with the investigation into the cause of the collision. The roadway was re-opened just after 11:30pm.
