(TEMISKAMING, ON) – August 11, 2015 at 4:17 p.m. members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 11 in the Chamberlain Township.
The driver was removed from the scene by ambulance and transported to the Englehart Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver, being the lone occupant of the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt.
The name of the driver will not be released at this time pending next of kin notifications.
The Technical Traffic Collision Investigator (TTCI) attended the scene. A post-mortem has been scheduled in Sudbury.
The Highway was re-opened to traffic at 11:30 p.m. on August 11, 2015.
Investigation is continuing.
