(SOUTH-WEST OXFORD TOWNSHIP, ON.) – Members of the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision located on Cranberry Line at Keswick Road on June 4, 2015.
The collision occurred at approximately 11:07 p.m. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a hydro pole.
The male passenger was ejected from the vehicle. The male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The male passenger was transported by Oxford Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The deceased has been identified as 19 year old Joseph Roberts of London.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) attended the scene to continue with the investigation.
Brownsville Fire Department and Ontario Hydro attended to assist with the scene.
Road Closure: Cranberry Line between Ostrander Road and North Street.
The roads will remain closed for several hours to complete the hydro repair.
