(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON.) Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the assistance of a Technical Traffic Collision Investigator are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision on an ATV trail off of Branny’s Road in Pacaud Township.
The victim was crossing a ditch on his Honda ATV when the vehicle became unstable in the water. This caused the vehicle to roll on its side ejecting the driver. As a result the victim was trapped under water by some branches and the vehicle. The incident occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. August 27, 2013.
The victim has been positively identified as William SCOTT age 71 of Pacaud Township. The investigation into the collision continues.
