FAMILY LEFT HOMELESS AFTER BLAZE

(GUELPH/ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) -On November 12, 2013 at approximately 4:30 p.m.Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded along with Guelph/Eramosa Fire and Rescue to a residential fire on County Road 44 just south of Highway 7.

The family members were at home and detected smoke in and outside of the house prior to it becoming fully engulfed in flames. The parents, along with 3 children and pets managed to make it out safely.

The home was heated by a wood stove.

The Ontario Fire Marshall’s office was notified and will be attending.
