(Selwyn Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle for an expired validation sticker in the area of Tara Road in Ennismore, yesterday just before 7:00am. During the traffic stop the officer noticed 7 marihuana plants inside the vehicle.
Christopher Edward SHAW (age 27) was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and production of a controlled substance. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Court on October 1, 2015.
Mitchell Blair MACKENZIE (age 20) also of Peterborough, ON were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, production of a controlled substance and breach of his probation order. The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing today.
