(Oro-Medonte, ON) On Saturday January 17th, 2015 at approximately 6 a.m., members of the Barrie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police(OPP) responded to a “911†call for service after a man had been awoken by his ex-wife who was unlawfully in his bedroom.
Investigation found that the caller and his girlfriend were asleep in their bedroom. The suspect knocked on the front door and when no one answered, she opened the door and entered without permission. The suspect then attended the bedroom and knocked again before entering. The complainant woke up and an argument immediately erupted. The suspect was restrained and police were contacted.
Charged with “Unlawfully in Dwelling House†is a 39 year old female from Orillia. She is scheduled to appear at the Provincial Courts in Barrie on Monday February 23rd, 2015.
