ERRATIC DRIVER CHARGED

(SOUTHWEST OXFORD TOWNSHIP, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding an erratic driver who was westbound on Highway 401 shortly after 6:00 p.m. on July 24, 2014.

Witnesses reported to police that the suspect driver of the pickup truck, was swerving in and out of lanes of traffic, cutting off other vehicles and forcing other motorists to take evasive actions to avoid collisions.

The suspect vehicle was observed travelling in this erratic manner from Drumbo Road area until the service centre just before Foldens Line, when it exited the highway.

OPP arrested and charged the 59 year old male driver, Aldren JUDSON of Sarnia, with the following:

Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle – The Criminal Code of Canada
Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana – The Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
Driving While Under Suspension – The Highway Traffic Act

JUDSON was released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
