The Owen Sound Police Service has a requirement for part-time Dispatchers, who will be responsible for administrative and emergency call-taking and dispatching in a computerized Communications Centre.
To be considered for one of these positions the applicant must possess a minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent; possess accurate and proficient keyboarding skills; have excellent computer and interpersonal skills; the ability to multi-task; be of good moral character and habits; and have no criminal convictions for which a record suspension has not been granted.

These positions involve shift work and have no guaranteed number of hours per week. Successful candidates will be subject to a comprehensive background check.
