(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On March 18, 2015 at approximately 8:44 a.m., the Joint Rescue Coordinator Centre (JRCC) located a plane that had been reported in distress shortly before 4 p.m. on March 17, 2015. The plane was located in a desolate rugged terrain near the mouth of the French and Pickerel Rivers within the French River Provincial Park area.
Following additional post mortem investigation, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is now able to release the names of the third victim involved as being that of Vilma GUMPAL, 42, from Sudbury.
