(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON)- On Friday February 21, 2014 at 2:43 p.m. members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex Centre Fire Department and Middlesex-London Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a two vehicle collision on Egremont Drive west of Ivan Drive, Middlesex Centre. Police have learned that an eastbound minivan lost control and crossed into the path of a westbound SUV. As a result three people have been transported to a local area hospital, two with serious injuries and one with life threatening injuries.
Police have closed a section of Egremont Drive between Ivan Road and Sinclair Drive as members of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) assist with the investigation. The roadway is expected to be closed for the next four to five hours and police are asking the public to avoid that area to ensure the safety of all involved.
The Investigation is on-going.
