(Pembroke, Ontario) On Tuesday, September 3, 2013 shortly before 10:30 am, members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a 911 call at a residence on Cecil Street in Pembroke, Ontario.
A 67-year-old female victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Police arrested and charged 37-year-old Edward ST. LOUIS of Pembroke with Attempt Murder. He was held in custody for a bail hearing scheduled for today.
The OPP Forensic Identification Unit is assisting with the investigation.
