EARLY MORNING R.I.D.E. CHECK RESULTS IN CHARGES

(TILLSONBURG, ON)- Members of the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) checks in the morning of Sunday, December 8, 2013 resulting in a driver being charged.

At approximately 9:59 am on December 8, 2013, a vehicle approached the R.I.D.E check located on Broadway Street in Tillsonburg.

As a result of the investigation, police have charged 50 year old Ross PALEN of Tillsonburg under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:

· Drive with more than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood

The Vehicle has been impounded for 7 days and the male was given a 90 day ADLS (Administrative driver’s licence suspension) Driver’s Licence suspension.

The male was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on January 28, 2014.
