(MOOSONEE, ON) – On September 29, 2015 the Moosonee Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break and enter to a storage trailer being used by a company to restore a damaged residence.
An investigation revealed that the accused used a power grinder to remove the padlock from the trailer at which point he entered and removed a quantity of tools. Entry to the residence was not gained.
On October 7, 2015 the Moosonee OPP completed their investigation which resulted in Dylan MCWATCH (23), of Moosonee Ontario, being arrested and charged with the following offences:
– Break, Enter a Place and Commit an Indictable Offence contrary to Section 328(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada
– Mischief Under $5000 contrary to Section 430(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear with an Undertaking and is to appear in court on December 1, 2015 to answer to these charges.
