(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On July 15, 2016, at approximately 2:44 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a motor vehicle travelling southbound on Hyde Park Road, near Stone Field Lane, at a very slow rate of speed. The red Ford pickup truck had visible damage, and a rear tail light was not working.
Officers conducted a traffic stop. It was determined that the 35-year-old male driver had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.
As a result of the police investigation, Dustin FORWARD, from London, Ontario, has been charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, and driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on August 23, 2016.
