(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On March 31, 2016 at approximately 8:30 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a suspicious male in the village of Dundalk, in the Township of Southgate.
Just before 8:30 a.m., a 12-year old girl was approached by an unknown male in a pick-up truck on Main Street East in Dundalk while walking to school. The lone male driver rolled down the window and asked the girl if she was alone. The frightened girl did not respond to the male but immediately ran to a nearby store and reported the incident. The vehicle was last seen heading westbound on Main Street.
Police would like to speak with this individual and ask anyone with information which may assist in identifying him and or the vehicle, is asked to contact Grey County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Suspect Description: 40-50 year old male with tanned coloured skin; “handle bar” style black mustache; short black hair with grey sides and balding on top of the head. He was wearing a light grey plain sweatshirt.
Vehicle Description: full size two door pick-up truck with tinted windows – black in colour. The bottom of the passenger door has a large dent (approximately one foot in length). The tires had black rims with silver in them. A vehicle plate was observed on the dashboard – passenger side. The rear plate was not in the centre of the bumper but rather off to one side
