(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On February 25th, 2016 at approximately 12:45pm, members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Clearview Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a motor vehicle collision (MVC) involving a dump truck and a SUV at the intersection of County Road 91 and Concession 10th in Clearview Township.
The three female occupants of the SUV were transported to hospital in Collingwood by ambulance. Two remain in Collingwood hospital and are listed in stable condition. The third female has since been airlifted to Toronto Hospital in critical condition. The dump truck driver was not injured.
County Road 91 was closed for approximately 6 hours and Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) were utilized. A cause has not yet been determined. The investigation is on-going. Charges are pending.
