On the 13th of December, at approximately 9:30 pm a 39 year old Chatsworth area man was caught urinating in a parking lot behind a downtown drinking establishment. The owners of the establishment confronted the intoxicated man, who in turn became belligerent. The man was banned from the establishment and in the process of leaving decided to take out his frustration on a pick up truck parked in the lot. The man began kicking the truck resulting in a broken rear tail light to the vehicle.
Owen Sound Police were called and the man was located nearby. He was arrested for mischief to the 2011 Dodge truck. Due to his intoxicated state he was held at the police station. He was later released on a Promise to Appear and must now attend court in the new year for the offences of Mischief under $5000 and Being intoxicated in public. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $150.
