(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On November 19, 2017, at approximately 12:00 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a possible impaired driver on Highbury Avenue North, Municipality of Middlesex Centre.
Police located the vehicle and interacted with the driver.
Officers determined that the 51-year-old male driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the police investigation, John Richard BOS, of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township, has been charged with Care or Control Over 80 mgs. pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).
The accused’s vehicle has been seized for 7 days and his driver’s licence suspended for 90 days.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on December 18, 2017.
