(Selwyn Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted about an intoxicated female on Curve Lake Road shortly after 6:00pm last evening.
Witnesses advised that they had located them female on her moped in the ditch and attempted to assist her. Once they discovered that the rider was intoxicated they had to prevent her from driving any further and contacted police. Heather RANKIN (age 51) of The City of Kawartha Lakes was arrested and charged with:
Impaired driving
Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario on October 06, 2016.
