(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On the 10th of July 2016 at approx. 6:15pm, officers from the Quinte West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police attended Highway 2 near Boulton Road for the report of a collision involving three motor vehicles.
After a brief investigation, officers arrested the male driver of one of the involved vehicles, 38 year old David AREIZAGA PRADO of Brighton. The male was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Driving with more than 80mgs of Alcohol in his system. The male was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date in August 2016.
The charged driver received minor injuries as a result of the collision and was transported to the hospital where he was treated and released. None of the other involved parties reported any injuries.
Damage to all three involved vehicles was extensive.
